New Business-to-Business eCommerce System

Gordon Associates is pleased to announce the completion of Phases 1 & 2 of an online order management system for Mathias & Sons ( Based in Bristol, Mathias & Sons provide workwear to organisations such as Scottish Courage and Telewest. The eCommerce site allows complex bulk orders to be placed and enables clients to view progress of orders. Gordon Associates have begun work on Phase 3, which will include management information reports (including some amazing 3-D, moving barcharts and pie charts – go to for a demonstration), integration with internal systems, and support for the returns management process. Jason Mathias commented that the web-site’s management information reports “allow Mathias & Sons to provide customers with budgetary control over orders and complete visibility of spend” and this is one of the factors which enables Mathias & Sons to differentiate themselves from their competitors.

Phase 3 Of CACHE Awarding Body Management System Kicks Off

Having successfully delivered two phases of a 60-user intranet system for the Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education (CACHE), Gordon Associates has recently begun a 150 man-day third phase. CACHE are an educational body who award NVQ’s, diplomas and other qualifications in the childcare area (see Phase 3 of their system includes the development of an enhanced browser-based module for calculating overall grades and issuing certificates as well as links to finance systems and archiving.

Customer Relationship Management System Goes Live At DBI Group

Gordon Associates has recently completed a sophisticated contact management system at DBI Group, an industrial cleaning group that provides services to organisations such as BASF, Severn Trent, Thames Water and many more. The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module is the latest component of the MiDAS enterprise management system which supports the business of three companies in the DBI Group. In addition to holding customer contact information, the CRM module allows users to track sales activities including phone calls, sales visits and emails, letters and other documents sent to the customer or received from the customer.

National Association of Estate Agents – Awarding Body Management System

Gordon Associates has recently completed the first stage of enhancements for an awarding body management system for National Association of Estate Agents. The work includes a new training centres module; improved facilities for recording test venues and dates; and improved management information reporting. The National Association of Estate Agents is a membership organisation, which incorporates an educational arm accredited by the Qualification & Curriculum Authority for the award of certificates and diplomas for training in residential sales & letting and commercial property.
